Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for He who promised is faithful. ~Hebrews 10:23

Wow! I'm so excited to share what God has been doing over the past four weeks as I made the official transition to full time living in Alaska and working at Tanalian Bible Camp.

There's so much to share so I'll have to pick the highlights! Words can't express how grateful I am for God's provision while going through this transition.

  • After an amazing send off my home church, Ladies Bible Study group, and small group, I arrived on February 7th to Anchorage and spent two days getting a driver's license, local bank account. and lots and lots of groceries. I'm now an Alaska resident!

  • Since being in Port Alsworth, I've experienced the coldest day of the year so far (-10 degrees) and about 12 inches of new snow. There's no time like the present to learn how to adjust to real life in Alaska!

  • The wonderful people at a ministry (MARC) on the road system helped me find a Honda (ATV) to purchase and the local air taxi was able to fly it out this past week so I have transportation in Port Alsworth (yay!). Some very handy and helpful people here in PA are helping me get it all fixed up.

  • This past weekend, TBC planned to host a Teacher's retreat for teachers serving in the rural villages in SW Alaska. Weather prevented the out of town teachers from making it here unfortunately but TBC was able to host the local educators with a dinner and trivia night.

Thank you to everyone who holds this ministry up in prayer and gives financially to allow the message of hope and redemption offered through our Savior, Jesus Christ, to be shared here in SW Alaska. This weekend one of the TLC students made his faith public and chose to be baptized. What a privilege it was to witness his public proclamation of faith!

Financial Support Update
God's faithfulness extends to the financial provision to my ability to serve at TBC. As a full time missionary, I am funded through donations to TBC and I'm just blown away at the generosity of so many people giving sacrificially to partner with what God is doing here and to support the ministry. My current needs for the remainder of 2023 include an additional $1400 per month.

If you would like to give financially to the work that God is doing here at TBC and help me get to the next goal of reaching 75% of funded, you can click the give button below, connecting you to TBC's giving page. From there, select 'Staff Support' and my name from the dropdown menu.

Give

Prayer is powerful! Thanks to all of you who have prayed and continue to faithfully pray for the ministry at TBC. Please join me in prayer for the following.

  • Praise for safe arrival in Port Alsworth for myself and all of my stuff

  • Praise for God's faithfulness in helping me adjust to a whole new way of living and in providing just what I need right when I need it

  • Praise for the baptism of one of the TLC students this past weekend!

  • For the upcoming ministry events including spring family conference and summer camp to be a blessing to the community and for people to come to know our gracious Father better or for the first time

  • For God to continue to grow the students who are here with TLC into a deeper relationship with Him

THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR SUPPORT IN EVERY WAY!
